Shawn did absolutely awesome at our wedding reception! We had a blast and stress free time because of him. We had music at both our wedding ceremony, at different locations, and at our reception and he made both a wonderful experience. The stress he took out of our day was incredible. Also Shawn is a very kind person that wants to get personal with his clients. Great!!!!

"It was amazing having Groove Entertainment as our DJ service. We met prior to the weddings to talk through what we wanted for the event and Shawn was even able to suggest great ideas! The day of the event was a breeze. Shawn showed up early for set up, which put me at ease. He kept people on the dance floor all night long and everyone had a blast. There was music that everyone enjoyed and he played all of our special requests. I highly recommend Groove Entertainment as your DJ service!"

COVID-19 Cancellation

After reading Groove Entertainment reviews and talking to some people who had been at events involving Groove, we made the choice to request Shawn’s services for our wedding dance. His pricing was extremely reasonable and he was super easy to work with to get everything set up. His detailed questionnaire was sure to give us the exact wedding dance entertainment we wanted! However with the uncertainty of Covid-19, we made the difficult decision to cancel our large wedding reception for the safety of our family and friends. We didn't know how our vendors would respond to cancellation but if we could have awarded the best response, Shawn would be the winner!! He was completely understanding of our choice even offering to return our “non refundable” deposit. We think this says a lot about who Shawn is when his career relies on large gatherings! Customer service is obviously a priority to Shawn and Groove Entertainment and we think that says a lot about what kind of entertainment they would provide! We’d absolutely recommend Groove and Shawn!

"DJ Shawn did a phenomenal job at our wedding reception! It would have been an entirely different and much more stressful experience without him. His hosting skills were on point as he made all of the guests feel welcome and got them (and kept them) in the dancing mood. Plus, he kept us on schedule and made sure we got everything in that we wanted. Because he was so on top of everything, none of us had to worry about anything because we knew he had us covered. He met with us beforehand to make sure the music was catered perfectly to our personalities and the theme of the reception. Everyone had an incredible time and we received many comments about how amazing the DJ was! We'll forever be grateful for how special Shawn made the evening for us.
